Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala has said that there is a hidden agenda behind the election alliance that the CPM has struck with the PDP.
Chennithala said that though the UDF had been focussing on CPM’s new friendship with the PDP, “Lavalin corruption case continues to be our main campaign point at grassroots level.”
He refuted the charge that the UDF was hand in glove with the Popular Front of India (earlier NDF). “The UDF has not shared a platform with the PFI, unlike leaders of CPI(M) and PDF who sought votes together in the Ponnani Lok Sabha constituency recently,” he said.
